You mean we're not talking about things that are potentially poisonous but aren't unless you're taking in extreme amounts of them? That's the only discussion that flouride really belongs in.captain.crazy wrote:Nice try on diverting the topic.Woodruff wrote:You should have the Vitamin C removed from the orange juice also. are your city and county municipalities pumping vitamin C into your public water supply?Woodruff wrote:You mean we're not talking about things that are potentially poisonous but aren't unless you're taking in extreme amounts of them? Yes, and you nicely ignored my other examples. You seem to think Woodruf and I are just bringing in stuff off the top of our hat, but the truth is that each of those things IS quite toxic.captain.crazy wrote:You think that Nazi's were done away with after WWII... they werent. their science and technology was so advanced, that they were actually absorbed into the governments of the global super powers... I never said Nazis disappeared or that we did not use some of their technology. In fact, we absolutely use much technology developed then. Even Albert Einstien was a "product" of Germany, though he left early enough. Also, there was a lot of concurrent research, scientists all over who preformed similar research so sometimes the exact origin is difficult.
Even afterward, there were some scientific exceptions made for some who had survived within the Nazis regime. It was controversial to admit them, but they were people who had kept themselves away from the more heneous aspects of the Nazis. Many ordinary Germans were freely admitted also. It was part of recovering and "moving on".
But using the technology, allowing Germans to come here is quite different from allowing NAZIS to infiltrate our government.
captain.crazy wrote:yeah... "fluoride varies... monitor it..." seems a bit of a contradiction if you ask me.
What can be done is to have it removed from your city's water supply...
Tell me just how much orange juice would one have to drink to reach a toxic level in their body. Also, tell me just how mind altering vitamin C is? I am telling you that fluoride is used as a sedative, and that is not something that a government should be doing to its people.PLAYER57832 wrote:Yes, and you nicely ignored my other examples. You definitely should monitor your child's intake of vitamin C, just like flouride. That means watch how much they take, make sure they don't take too little or too much. BOTH are bad.

Eat too much fruit and your kids (even adults) will get diarhea. Believe me, I know! In most kids/adults, this is no big deal. In some, it could be. Note, that is FULLY natural forms, with other minerals, etc. -- oranges, peaches, apricots, etc.captain.crazy wrote: Tell me just how much orange juice would one have to drink to reach a toxic level in their body. Taken over a long periods of time, vitamin C can cause bleeding in the stomache and other problems.
Of course, go without vitamin C or just don't get enough and you get scurvy.
Flouride is many things. It is toxic, it also strengthens teeth, but a sedative it is not.
http://www3.interscience.wiley.com/jour ... 1&SRETRY=0Abstract: After cardiac surgery, patients often require prolonged mechanical ventilation. We studied the effectiveness and potential toxicity of isoflurane sedation in 40 patients undergoing mechanical ventilation after cardiovascular surgery. All patients who received isoflurane (0.5-1.0 minimum alveolar concentration [MAC]) were well sedated by it without significant adverse effects, such as renal, hepatic, or cardiovascular dysfunction. The highest serum inorganic fluoride concentration recorded was 45 |x molL after 98 MAC h. Patients on isoflurane recovered more rapidly and were weaned from mechanical ventilation sooner than those sedated with intravenous drugs including fentanyl/midazolam. Patients who received intravenous sedatives, but not those on isoflurane, often showed tachyphylaxis in the early stages, and some exhibited an abstinence syndrome involving nonpurposeful movements. Patients sedated with isoflurane did not show these two side effects. In conclusion, isoflurane can provide effective long-term sedation for patients after cardiovascular surgery without significant adverse effects.

The types of fluoride used to treat water systems, fluosilicic acid and sodium silicofluoride, are actually untreated hazardous waste from the phosphate fertilizer industry. Obtained from giant scrubbers that capture fluoride gases released during manufacturing processes, this fluoride (which is legally classified as a toxic waste and is considered a hazardous pollutant in the environment) is often contaminated with other toxins like lead and arsenic, and is sold in an unrefined state to communities around the country for use in drinking water. (Many activists, in fact, believe the federal government’s insistent support of water fluoridation has more to do with helping industries profit from (rather than pay for) their hazardous waste disposal.)
Because if I want to quote a medical group, chiropracters are definitely the first place I want to go for my information...captain.crazy wrote:lol... its so funny that you people are so dumbed down that you can't even understand that you are being poisoned!

I don't need a state "licensed and certified" medical doctor to tell me something that someone who studdies and practices in a field like chiropractics may know better. Medical doctors are tainted with with "agenda's" from the drug industry, as well as others. I wouldn't recommend that anyone give birth in a hospital over a properly prepaired for home birth.PLAYER57832 wrote:#1 disagreeing with you does not mean we are "blindly skeptical".captain.crazy wrote:It would be if you actually would realize that fluoride has been linked with bone cancer.Woodruff wrote:Because if I want to quote a medical group, chiropracters are definitely the first place I want to go for my information...captain.crazy wrote:lol... its so funny that you people are so dumbed down that you can't even understand that you are being poisoned!

#2 chiropractors have nothing to do with bone cancer. I fully respect chiropractors, but they manipulate spines. Those trained at Life college (the better ones anyway) can detect many other things, but the profession doesn't even have real license requirements in most states.
#3 That something is considered credible by the scientific establishment does not mean it is automatically bogus. The one who is blindly skeptical ... as in questioning everything blindly with no basis or knowledge.. is you. Real questions are welcomed by science, but rediscovering fire is not.

Do you really? Ever had a home birth? We have had several. Don't tell me that you followed the "doctor's" advice and have your kids in a hospital... Are you even sure that they are yours? How much drugs did they use to inducs your labor, and then numb the pain?PLAYER57832 wrote:captain.crazy wrote:I don't need a state "licensed and certified" medical doctor to tell me something that someone who studdies and practices in a field like chiropractics may know better. And sorry, but I know a GREAT deal more about that last than you.
A home birth can be safe and reasonable in ideal conditions, but heaven help the mother and child if something goes seriously wrong.. and sadly, they sometimes do.
Really, those should be tears, not laugher, but sometimes crying is just too painful.
