I think a map of india needs to be made. This is just to see who would like me to make one. It has been started 1 times that I can find and it was abandoned abandoned. I wont be able to start making it until i get photoshop in a few days but I wanted to reserve this idea and get initial support.

There, there. You're probably just excited and wanting to make a map, but lack an idea... don't worry, it will come. There are still loads of ideas that haven't been made into maps, that could be made into good & playable maps for CC.

In the meanwhile, take your time to get to know the foundry and the process... read other peoples' map threads... you'll get an idea how things have been done. You can learn a lot from mapmaking simply by reading the 1st post of many map threads, and seeing how they developed from the first draft into the current version.

Well, it could be made, if it will have significantly different gameplay from the current india map.

there are plenty of past drafts, some that were pretty good. thre was a nice indain ocean one that included surrounding regions too.

How about russia? There is a thread in ideas that hasnt been replyed to since June that has china in as well. Could I make a russia map?

There is a Soviet Union map, but Russia hasn't been done succesfully.

Personally, I'd like to see a map of the Russian empire in the 1800-1900:s...

Unfortunately the map images on that thread have been deleted, so it's a bit hard to say if that map would be worth resurrecting...
