Greg confirmed in the other thread. I noticed that day scenes in the rules in that thread said that they would not have a deadline unless activity decreased but at the same time said 3 24 hour days.

Yeah, I was adapting the rules from PCM. No hard deadlines for days, but I think I'll go 72 hours max on the night phases.

For my glorious return to mafia I feel like a few words need to be spoken. Unless you're a newly hatched pod person you already know that this is a fine example of what I've been talking about. But let me add that the grossly fallacious reasoning behind Mafia's epithets can be confirmed by some simple fact-checking. To plunge right into it, Mafia attributes the most distorted, bizarre, and ludicrous "meanings" to ordinary personality characteristics. For example, if you're shy, it calls you "fearful and withdrawn". If, instead, you're the outgoing and active type, Mafia says you're "acting out due to trauma". Why does it say such things? You see, if snobbism were an Olympic sport, it would clinch the gold medal.
If I wanted to brainwash and manipulate a large segment of the population, I would convince them that it is better that a hundred thousand people should perish than that Mafia should be even slightly inconvenienced. In fact, that's exactly what Mafia does as part of its quest to unleash an unparalleled wave of mercantalism. Mafia's reasoning is circular and therefore invalid. In other words, it always begins an argument with its conclusion (e.g., that everything will be hunky-dory if we let it view countries and the people that live in them either as economic targets to be exploited or as military targets to be defeated) and therefore—not surprisingly—it always arrives at that very conclusion. Okay, there's no reason for me to be larcenous, so I'll leave you with this concept: In times of economic, social, or political crisis, small groups that subvert our country's legal system suddenly gain a mass following.
