advise for problem tourney?

So there seems to be a problem with 3-4 games in this tourney, they havn't filled up. People are trying to contact TO by wall, PM, ingame (inside one of the tourney games) but it would seem he's ignoring everyone.

So whats the protocol for a situation like this? are we just advised to drop games? wait for it to classified as abandoned, and then hope somone decides to rescue it?

This is something that never ever should be done because you don't know what deal the organiser and the player who hasn't joined has so perhaps there's some extension to joining the game. Of course, I don't know what's the situation right now but my advise stays the same for every tournament.
