Gnostic - Does not subscribe to a belief in God but does not deny the possibility of a supernal power.InkL0sed wrote:Also, what's the difference Gnostic and Deist?
The way I understand them, they are both umbrella terms that simply mean that you believe in a god. People with the belief you described have often been described as Deists because there isn't really another term (other than gnostic). Perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't think so.ViperOverLord wrote:Gnostic - Does not subscribe to a belief in God but does not deny the possibility of a supernal power.InkL0sed wrote:Also, what's the difference Gnostic and Deist?
Deist - Believes that a supernal power created the universe and that the universe is subsequently self maintained. Common analogy is that God is like a clock maker. Once the clock is made, it ticks and his work is done.
Liberation theology is the Church Obama sat in for 20 years. You get a lot of white devils, collective salvation, social justice, and god damn Americas there.InkL0sed wrote:What is Liberation? Why is that and Luciferian on the poll, but not Hindi or Buddhism? What is up with this poll?
Also, I can't vote. I think he's a shape-shifting lizard-man.

wikki awaits you...BigBallinStalin wrote:isn't Liberation some kind result after a certain struggle for freedom? I'm pretty sure that's not a religion.
No, because the gnostics were a group who said that the physical or material was evil and the spirit was good. Only those who could free themselves of the material could obtain the gnosis or true knowledge. They didn't believe in a physical resurrection of the body and tried to suppress the needs of the body as much as possible.Phatscotty wrote:cant that fit under gnostic?DangerBoy wrote:No agnostic option?
