true also. With clickies I don't really notice that unless it's a team game, but it should be fixed. There's plenty of room on the map, no reason to squeeze the army numbers and the territory names in the same spotnatty_dread wrote:More about the Asia map: there's territory labels overlapping army circles, wtf is up with that?

agreed (not that I'm a foundry expert)natty_dread wrote:If this map was in the foundry today there's no way it would get past GFX like this.

"If this was" doesn't count with past. If this was in production today it could never pass the current standards. But thanks to it, you can drive today.jrh_cardinal wrote:agreed (not that I'm a foundry expert)natty_dread wrote:If this map was in the foundry today there's no way it would get past GFX like this.
This is a big issue imo. As you said, there's a clear border between them.jrh_cardinal wrote:Look at the border (or non-border) between sinkiang and irkutsk.
Yeah, and they are horrible to see. I think that Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and S. Korea should be fixed, but without a psd file it's not so simple (althought it could be done)natty_dread wrote:there's territory labels overlapping army circles
True, that point of the map is a mess.jrh_cardinal wrote:Look at Uzbekistan
This hasn't stopped other revamps. People always complain when a map is revamped but eventually they get used to it.First of all I'm pretty sure that many don't want to see Asia to be replaced with a new version because it is one of the few map left that remembers us all where we started, then it should also be considered that most of the users are used to playing on the map as it is now and as we all know very well, habits are hard to change.

I think that's all that's really a problem, but (being picky) compared to other maps it could still be fixed in a few other spots.thenobodies80 wrote:Something else not listed here above?
where the name needs to be moved. Also, there's no reason for something like Vietnam being across the tert from the army circle, not that it's a real gameplay problem.thenobodies80 wrote:Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and S. Korea
agreed the key needs to be color-coded or something. Most people have a basic knowledge of Asia geographics, but still.ManBungalow wrote:>> If somebody has very poor geographical knowledge of Asia, there could be difficulties working out which bonuses are which.
Ya, if I just saw the map, I would call it Far East (who wouldn't). Maybe the name on the site should be "Asia- Far East" or something if people want to keep the Asia part of it.Industrial Helix wrote:also making the title of the map correlate with the name

Thank you ender, and thanks for the correction as well. Lord knows that I am the worlds worst speller. Please let me know if you catch any more typos.ender516 wrote:Now that is a beautiful map. It verges on overwhelming, but then, so does Asia itself.
(EDIT: Sorry to nitpick, but it is spelled Sri Lanka.)

RU frickin kidding me ?natty_dread wrote:There's a lot of pixelation that would need to be fixed...
mainly in the territory labels.
