I definitely want to hear your thoughts.

P.S. I'll choose which maps I want to focus on based on feedback I get in the threads I've posted in this forum.

Okay, look at this new version with temporarily labelled territories: What I'm saying is if you hold all of Pericolosa, the auto-decay will only really matter for P1, P2, and P6, aka the border territories, because all the rest of the P territories can just have 1 troop and it won't matter. I don't believe anyone will "pop" a bonus, as Australis, with the fewest territories, has 5 total territories, while Oceania in Classic has 4.army of nobunaga wrote:also another problem you will see is this..
play madagascar or lux on 1vs1.. one person almost always pops a bonus from the get go.
If a player pops a bonus on this map and they are high bonuses, then game over after round one.
I'm saying there is a vast multitude of reasons you may have more than one on a non-border tert.Victor Sullivan wrote:aka the border territories, because all the rest of the P territories can just have 1 troop and it won't matter.
Like what? Besides, I don't think it'll matter too much.the.killing.44 wrote:I'm saying there is a vast multitude of reasons you may have more than one on a non-border tert.Victor Sullivan wrote:aka the border territories, because all the rest of the P territories can just have 1 troop and it won't matter.

Reinforcements behind the lines protecting against a break, i.e. getting ready to retake … A misfort, unlimited mess-up, or the like … Team games, forting your teammate armies stranded behind the lines that otherwise couldn't be moved up … just to name a few.Victor Sullivan wrote:Like what? Not necessarily, that person would get -1/-2 along with those auto-deploys, so it wouldn't entirely be unfair. And if you dropped Pericolosa territories, everybody would be reduced to 1, so I don't think it would be much of an issue.army of nobunaga wrote:I have a feeling 3 or 4 of the 6 territories in incognito will not be very hard or improbable to pop at the beginning... and with the +1 auto deploy, I believe that it will mean game over.
I see what you mean, but read what I said above.the.killing.44 wrote:Reinforcements behind the lines protecting against a break, i.e. getting ready to retake … A misfort, unlimited mess-up, or the like … Team games, forting your teammate armies stranded behind the lines that otherwise couldn't be moved up … just to name a few.Victor Sullivan wrote:Like what? This is a standard-style map, right? I'm really confused right now, because wouldn't it mean if you're dropped 3's in an automatic game on those terts, they turn into 1's, and then there's no point to the entire bonus.
