WELCOME TO THE LEGAL SYSTEM FOLKS!
Here, things aren't done the way you usually do them. We don't just hang people anymore. They get a fair trial, and THEN we hang them. Yes, we have a court system in place. With courts come lawyers, and with lawyers come many many cases.
Recently, there has been a crime spree. This crime spree has lead to a large increase in court cases. So many in fact, that judges started limited the cases they would take daily. Here you are in the middle of the court system, and things are about to get chaotic.
Miles Edgeworth and Phoenix Wright have decided to make a game of this. They'll participate in cases, swapping between defense and prosecution every day. Simple really if you don't mind the justice system becoming a farce.
Day Start
Discussion Phase - Up to FIVE days.
-Discussion continues until everyone has sent a selection of SIX people they would like to see on the chopping block. ALSO: They must send the name of ONE person they wish to decide to be the casemaker. The casemaker not only decides the order of the cases but also gets to select which of the most voted players will not become a case.
Casemaking Phase
-During this time, the lawyers submit the two cases they wish not to take (cases such as immediate obvscum). This information is relayed to the casemaker who may or may not take this into account while choosing the three cases and the order in which they will be tried.
