Inky/BBS. We were having a conversation about 2 months ago, might have been one of you or both of you. It was about immigration and my relating it to the economy. The conversation had come down to Keynes mandating a growing population/fertility rate in order for his theories to work.
The theory proposed in this world demographics video relates, in a similar way, to what I was trying to say back then. You may remember I said I was not positive and asked for someone to fill in any blanks on Keynesian politics and fertility rates. Well, here is something related
'according to research' - what research? cornwall polytechnic's biology department? some final year student's theoretical dissertation? how do we know this isn't made up?
'economic model... culture' - you can economically construct culture? sounds like the concept of buying happiness.
there's a lot of emphasis on 'this birth rate is impossible to reverse' - why? what makes it impossible for everyone to just get married and have 6 children each? this historical research definitely sounds bogus.
'in 39 years france will be an islamic republic' - makes me lol, not least because you're working on the assumption that birth rates, immigration etc. will continue on at their present rate. they won't.
the video's equating of all muslims to suicide bombers - nice
that shit about mosques outnumbering churches - you are assuming that france actually wants to remain strongly christian. i know that most people in the UK don't really care. why does diversity scare you so much?
asides from anything, culture is a constantly evolving thing. do you really expect culture as it is now to exist in exactly the same state forever? your culture wasn't the same 10 years ago and it won't be the same in 10 years time. that's life.

When times are good and there's a chicken in every pot, I guess you want your kids to have the same things. You want the best future for them. Becoming the minority after their grandparents picked on the minorities doesn't sound ideal.

I'd like to see the birthrate difference between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd generation to see if there's a gradual slow down (which there most likely is).
Without that info, the propaganda is just bordering fear-mongering.

Pretty much why Roman Catholics were disdained/feared for such a long time here in the US. But, if you feel this is reason to fear... consider that here it is now the Christian far right that is espousing this view... along with a good mix of "entimerism" (which for the uninitiated, essentially means embracing various signs, including sheparding utter chaos and world destruction, as bringing the second coming).

ah, I was commenting more so on the reasoning that high birth rates from Muslims in predominantly white countries is "bad" and how the numbers can be skewed.
