Agreed. I'm not sure why you bring reality TV into this, but I agree with that anyway.hecter wrote:I dislike award shows and reality television. I think it's all crap.
The Devil's Backbone is very similar to Pan's Labyrinth, and, I think, much better.Stopper wrote:Agreed. I'm not sure why you bring reality TV into this, but I agree with that anyway.hecter wrote:I dislike award shows and reality television. I think it's all crap.
The Departed - not seen it. I tend to think everything by Scorcese gets overrated. The best thing he did was Taxi Driver, then he should have retired, if you ask me. Plus, I saw Infernal Affairs ages ago, and I refuse to watch a remake. I don't recommend the sequels to that film, though. They're shite.
Actually, the only Oscar-winning one I did see was Pan's Labyrinth. I dunno if it deserved any Oscars - I don't know if any good film deserves to be sullied with Oscars - but I really liked that. The Devil's Backbone is another film the same director did, and apparently it's supposed to be good - I added it to my rental list after seeing Pan's.
Now I will stop posting like I'm on IMDB, and remember I'm on Conquer Club.
