Overview This is a one-day tournament will run in a 'festival' format. over 6 hours. During the 6 hours of the tournament, players can join as many or as few games as they wish and, at any time. A selection of 3,4,5, and 6-player games will be available to join at all times.
The winner of the tournament will be the player who has played at least 4 games with the best kill points percentage.
For ATP purposes, players' finishing positions will be ranked according to their kill points percentage (for those who play at least 4 games).
In addition, the player with the most kill pioints will be awarded a General Achievement medal.*
* In the unlikely event that the same player wins both medals, the GA medal will go to the player with the second most kill points. How Kill Points are awarded
Kill points are awarded as follows:
Victory in a 3-player game: 3 points
Victory in a 4-player game: 4 points
Victory in a 5-player game: 5 points
Victory in a 6-player game: 6 points
How Kill Percentage is calculated
The kill points percentage is calculated as follows:
Kill points x 100 / number of games played.

All arrangements are designed to maximise the probability of the tournament working.
This is a Tournament Players Association (TPA) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments. All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA events that will be announced each Monday. Check back on the TPA scoreboard in the Tournaments--> General Info forum to see how you're doing.

PlayersSpoiler
There will at least 16 players.
In the event of a Speed Game Holiday, Freemium players may join, otherwise players must be Premium.
Players must have a 97% attendance record, have played a minimum 50 games, and not have dropped out from one of my tournaments previously!
Joining GamesSpoiler
Players will be informed of the generic password at the tournament start time. It is then players' individual responsibility to use Game Finder to find and join games of their choice during the tournament.
Important Fog of War RuleSpoiler
Players must not divulge details of opponents location in fog games. Players can however refer to information provided in the game log. If fog information is divulged then the player(s) concerned may be ejected from the tournament
Tournament End TimeSpoiler
At the Tournament End Time, unfilled games will be dropped. Games that have already started will continue and count towards the tournament scoring.
The Tournament End Time may be extended in the event of a suitable Assistant Tournament Organiser being signed-up (and therefore able to continue creating games after the TO's bed-time).
Partnerships / Regular opponents Spoiler
Players must inform the tournament organiser if they have a regular partner or opponent that is also featuring in the tournament. The organizer can then ensure these players do not play together to avoid any potential claims of foul play by other players.
If reports of suspected foul play are made and the players in question have not declared that they are regular partners / opponents then they will be both be ejected from the tournament without question or the need for irrefutable evidence.
