Yes, in fact two people can hold the same card simultaneously. I don't really understand why they've programmed it in that manner, to be honest, but there it is.PLAYER57832 wrote:Can cards repeat, that is, in just a few turns not when they "deck" is used up?
Ah, a good point regarding the ultra-small maps like Doodle Earth. That's why we should kill those off. <grin>shaneback wrote:It is actually possible for 2 people to hold the same card.
Think of Doodle Earth. It has 18 territories, so if you have 8 people with 5 cards each for a total of 40, you would have to have repeats
This has happened to me on Doodle Earth before, except it was nuclear. It's a good question. I think that you'd get +4 though, why wouldn't you?Army of GOD wrote:Can one person hold 2 of the same card? If so, what happens if they cash that card and they own that territory? Do they get 4 troops bonus instead of two?
Huh, that's weird. To the best of my knowledge. It's not supposed to happen until the "deck" is completely used.PLAYER57832 wrote:Can cards repeat, that is, in just a few turns not when they "deck" is used up?

It is very possible. Say for instance you cash in 'Chicago', 'Montreal' and 'Berlin'. At the end of the round, even when other cards haven't been passed out, it is possible someone (even you) gets one of those cards. The 'deck' is shuffled whenever a card is used.Master Fenrir wrote:Huh, that's weird. To the best of my knowledge. This is NOT true, at least not complete. You can ONLY get a multiple of the same card if the map holds less then 40 countries.Streaker wrote:It is very possible. You aren't mixing 2 things up here, are you? I am not saying you can have 2 same cards 'in play' at the same time (unless with a very small map and large number of players).SirSebstar wrote:proof?
I asked for proof, but eh this is true.Streaker wrote:I believe I am correct. Once a card has been used, it is possible you will receive the same card again before all others have been used.
