I have seen the hoops that people jump through to put tabular data into posts, particularly here in the Foundry, and I suspect that others avoid doing it because it is so arduous. But tables of bonuses and starting positions and what not can be very useful.
Apparently blakebowling is ready to implement this anytime we get the go-ahead, so that could happen quickly with enough activity in the topic.
