Medals?

Why is there, for example, a medal for Nuclear spoils, but not one for Flat or No spoils?

Flat Rate and NO Spoils are for the dull and unimaginative who wouldn't appreciate a shiny bauble anyway...lol

no there are no medals for no spoils and flat rate, as they are regarded as the basic settings.

More than that, nuclear was regarded by some as a "difficult" setting (it isn't really, just requires stepping out of predictable ways of doing things) and so they felt they needed an extra incentive to get people to try it.

Standard is a basic setting and we get a medal for that. So are doubles, triples and quadruples.

The limit on the medals is the biggest issue, imo. If someone creates 100 maps or runs 300 tournaments, they deserve a medal for each and every one of them. Respect the uncolored volunteers of the site!
