This is a Tournament Players Association Year 2(TPA2) event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments. All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You need do nothing more than join one or more of the TPA2 events that will be announced each Monday. Check back on the TPA2 scoreboard in the Tournaments--> General Info forum to see how you're doing.
This will be a Triples tournament honoring the upcoming EuroBasket 2011 in Lithuania. http://www.eurobasket2011.org
There will be 24 teams divided in 4 groups with 6 teams each.
The teams will be playing round-robin and top 3 will advance to the second round. In case of a tie, first tiebreaker will be head to head match, in case of multiple ties, first tiebreaker will be head to head match, second tiebreaker will be number of rounds taken to win.
The best 8 teams in second round will continue in knockout phase.
The quater finals, semi finals and bronze medal game will be Best-of-3 and the Finals will be best-of-5
For the teams that fail to qualify i will make a classification games, they will be 8 players doubles game two best ranked players from the team will be invited to participate, the winner of the game will be 13th, last eliminated 14th etc.. there will be three such games for 4th placed, 5th placed and 6th placed teams in the first round.
All the games will be played on Europa map with auto, escalating, chained, no fog settings.
Freemiums are welcome since most of the time we will play one round at a time and being freemium myself i always keep my tournaments open for freemiums.
If any team member misses two invitations for a game without really good explaination i will drop the game and award the win to the oposing team.
Well, those are justed friendly games, we`ll see what happens when the real fight starts.
