Make sure that you stay active, and when you've become familiarized with the new way of things, send the tech team leader, chipv a PM with your interest. I'm not aware if the tech team needs more help atm though, but it never hurts to asknewline wrote:I used to be on the tech team before it was call that (2007) and was wondering how does one go about joining the current Tech Team?
ok. I wasn't on the tech team, I was in the grease monkey usergroup, I worked on and wrote scripts. But now I'm curious is the tech team like sys-admin stuff or is it like grease monkey scripting and general userbase stuff? Basically is it server side or client side?sherkaner wrote:What did you do at the tech team 'avant la lettre''? Kinda curious..

We are still client-side though we are moving towards server and have some gains on that field. Tech team are moderators for tools forums and bugs forum. We also write documentation for the tools and some forum features. Most of us created some GreaseMonkey scripts but not everyone. Our main job is to help all other CC player get familiar with tools and help them solve their problems when something is not working.newline wrote:ok.
