I was talking with a couple people early today, and thought it would be neat to see who people on CC think are the most well known players on CC over the year's...
I will breaking these players down into many different categories and years. We will start with players people thought were most well known (or popular) in 2006 in 6 different categories, those being: 1. Most well known mod 2. Most well known clan player 3. Most well known tournament host 4. Most well known poster 5. Most well known trouble maker 6. Most well known map maker
I will eventually cover years from 2006-present in all 6 categories. I will be having polls after we nominate about 5-10 names for each category of that year (starting with 2006).
We have a lot of well known players threw-out our CC community, so who will be the most well known player of each year?

I wasn't around for 2006 so we will have to leave that year to those who were around, but I think I will nominate lackattack as it was and is his website, he had to of been pretty well known in 2006, and he still is now but there are more well known then him now for sure.... other then that, who else was well known in 2006? and in what areas?

Yes those were the mods we were thinking about... as for tourneys in 2006, might be hard to choose... I mean over 2008-2011 we have like HA or b00.. those who have dominated the tourney scene, or those who have made amazing tournaments that many remember.. but in 2006? hmm might be hard to choose..
Personally I'd vote for Hugh.G.Rection for tournaments. Not because he has the most, but because those are the ones I remember (He was a Director as well)

i think qwert would have a difficult time winning best known mapmaker of 2006. he was only here for the last 7 weeks of that year and i doubt he became a mapmaker in that 7 weeks.
