Sorry. Didn't realize what the proper etiquette was for this game. It's been a couple years since I've played on this website. My appologies and it won't happen again. An honest mistake. On other websites, it's the standard way to make truces.

I'm kind of sympathetic to these kind of cases. Mainly because you don't seem to have hurt another player, although your action broke the rules, and yeah, you are quite correct, it's a practice on other sites.

You broke a rule, and a fairly important one on the site, but I don't think you did so maliciously, or at the expense of another player. Noted at worst- there's simply no evidence that he was trying to cheat people as far as I can tell.
