I am having problem inviting myself to clan war games. I have made the games for my clan and invite my clan to their games. These I join with the password used to make the games. My problem is joining games made by the other clan. If I type my name in to send myself an invite, its come up in red that "you cannot invite yourself". As a result I need to get the password from the other side. I am currently working with TheCrown on the SOH-TNC war and known that TheCrown can invite himself to the games I create.
I go into game finder, use the drop down to get to the war and search. Then get into the games that way, its where I invite my clan and join the games I create.
My question is am I doing something wrong or just missing something??

Type in your username with a capitalized first letter.
cookie - you aren't missing anything. you can't invite yourself to a game. i always request the password from the other clan. if they refuse, for whatever reason, let a CD know. cheers.

For once I wasn't being sarcastic. It's a trick that actually works.

Are you kidding me?! I had no idea. 4+ years and still learning new stuff. Do I have to capitalize my name then "Chemefreak"? And it will work? Why did I not know that? (do not answer this, hehe)
BTW, I did not say you were an asshole...just the WHOLE ass ....which I guess includes the asshole...hell that was worse!

No, it just matters how you capitalized it when you made your account.
Clan privs are given the same way as tournament privs and used the same way by the organizers. It only matter how your actual name is capitalized. You just need to change the capitalization in your name for it to work.
It seems to me that if you incorrectly capitalize your name, the check to see if you're inviting yourself doesn't recognize you, but when looking in the database, the correct capitalization is found.
So basically, it's a bug that doubles as a feature.
