Conquer cup [Cleared] DCR

I just wanted to send you a quick note about how great the concer club trurny has been. It was a lot of fun until two of the four people in my current game openly agreed not to attract each other in the game chat have not once attract each other since. One attracts me every turn the other goes after 3 fourth guy every turn...takes all the fun out of playing. I would have gladly played in many more turns but this has reminded me why I only play with xi people and why I am feeling like it is just time to give the game up all together. Thanks for cc club it has been a lot of fun for many years.

was there not some rule in the conquer cup that states no truces i cant remember but i am sure there was.

I find it rather rude that the only thing most of you got out of this,was to poke fun at the OP,Who came here to the forums for the first time ever,with what they believed was a legit complaint.

So instead of giving some feedback on whether the complaint has merit or not,You do this.

lol, sexymomof3, don't worry about them, they're a bunch of noobs that don't know how to play escalating.
if you play your cards right this should be an easy win for you.
red is already stuck in australia and he's keeping a bunch of his troops blocked to protect it. the other 2 guys are battling NA vs SA so just take cards and survive until it's time for an escalating elimination domino.

I can find no evidence of SD, I am clearing any/all of the players in that Cup game.

there is no evidence of sd, there iws diplomacy in chat though. since that tourney is a pay to play there should not be any for of diplomacy between any player, like i said before i remember this was a rule of it but cannot find it now..... and if this is allowed to be ok it totally demerits the cup.

I completely disagree with you here.

As much as we dance around the terminology, the game we play on this site is based on RISK, and one of the key elements of RISK always has been the diplomacy aspect. Hell, go back even further and RISK is a war-simulation game. We all know a major aspect of war is diplomacy. If ConquerClub was actually serious about removing diplomacy from the Conquer Cup games, they'd disable the chat box for those games - but it's there for a reason.

Agreed. Now, if there were actually a rule against it (as I have seen in other tournaments), that would be different. But as far as I have found, there is not.
