Let's make some fun out of it!

Okay so the number of active users on this site is declining and few can see anything positive in that. (except Yoda ;))
But let's make a game out of this! How low will the number of active players on the scoreboard sink to this year? It's currently at 14652. Will it go under 14000? 13000? The player who come closest will get a cookie! So there's much to gain here folks.

How'd you get this stat ? Just curious, because all I see is 590,000ish, but that includes inactive members as well, ofcourse.

my guess is: 15,371.64928

I took my 3 best guesses and averaged them. Yes all went to 4 decimal places.

There are two things wrong with this:

1) Gil asked how far the number of players will sink this year, not rise. You gave a number above the number of active users. You are therefor wrong on one count.

2) You said each guess went to 4 decimal places, yet your average contained 5. This is, I believe, mathematically impossible. You are wrong one a second count.

I deem this guess to be invalid, and unable to receive a cookie on the off chance the Hed Getter is correct.

There were only a few thousand people around when i first got here,
so i suppose it will be just ducky to go back to the days when i knew most everybody...
