This used to already be a feature. Whoever suggested and supported that this feature should be removed should be permabanned. This is fucking atrocious.

I've found that you have to change the capitalization of the first letter of your username. For me, I have to type in Tkr4lf to get it to work. So it should work for you if you send the invite to doomYoshi.

That is quite interesting.

Sure, no problem. I actually found that out in a previous suggestion about this very thing. Somebody else posted what I posted and I've been able to invite myself since then.

Yeah, I've been doing the same for a few months now, I have to do the opposite of tk, I invite dibbler to get Dibbler

It's pretty interesting what parts of this site are case sensitive ... ever tried to sort a thread by author? Also, TourStats (a plug-in) has a similar issue. Add this to the list, I guess.

Yeah, I posted something about this when it was brought up in the clan forum. You just need to change capitalization.

Actually though, I don't know what Doom was getting so cranky about. Was he mad that we can invite ourselves? Anyway, move this thread!! ;)

MOVED to Implemented, because you were already allowed to invite yourself to games.

Yeah, any change in capitalization lets you invite yourself. Very handy for setting up tournament games and SoC games.
