Yes, it is unfortunate timing HapSmo19, our Secretary of State greatly wanted to testify on the events mentioned, but has been forced to delay by circumstances beyond her control. If this has happened at any other time, you could easily think of a conspiracy in which she was trying to avoid something. But that's just how busy our brilliant and lovely Secretary of State is... no matter what, if she misses a day, something important will have happened.

Even if there was a legitimate reason why she couldn't testify now it should be a priority for her to testify. The problem is that we have a split congress, and the democrats have no motive to uncover that our ambassador died because administration officials didn't want to jeopardize the reelection campaign by authorizing a botched US maneuver.
In all likeliness our ambassador died for the Obama administration's reelection efforts.

I think the Obama administration issued a general directive to military, intelligence and diplomatic personnel to stand down and not cause trouble prior to the election. This directive caused people with the authority and resources to save Americans in Benghazi not to act, and now Secretary Clinton needs to take some time to get her story straight for the off chance that she does actually have to testify before Congress.
