but in the misc it says that it won't be enforced and is a gentleman's agreement, just curious which one it will be?

Yikes! The 12 Hr fog rule will not be enforced unless it is agreed to by the clans. Good catch.

We are not going to guess. If it happens, we will deal with it. We do remember our assurances to those two clans that we will not have them playing early in the tournament due to their commitments to the CCup3.

You say playing early in the tournament. This means they will still have a bye or their 1st round matchup will be delayed?

Yep. I sent a pm to about 200 people a few days ago. I will resend tomorrow, I think. Historically, there is a mad rush at the end. Dramatic effect I think!

Where everything else is followed by..."is / is not permitted".

Any players can play in the tie-breaker games in the semi finals and finals even if they have already played in their allotted number of games for that clan war, however, no player can play in more than 2 of the games. Maps cannot be reused in the tie breaker games.

I read rules ,and i can not find what are minimum number of player required for each round.

Consider that old rules, in creation of clans allows that with 10 player Clan become Active, these its to low number of players for any rounds.
If you have 41 game[12 doubles>24 spots<>14 triples>42 spots<>14 quads>56 spots] these its 122 spots.

So mine question are simple> what are minimum required players per round?

this is a question i asked last night and was to they had contingency plans he then locked the thread someone else posted something off topic so he locked that thread started a new one. i then asked if he could tell us a bit more about what these were. he said off topic and locked the thread for it.

So my question now is since another clan has asked the question can we have a answer as to what it will be..

Deliberately timing out in Escalating and Nuclear games to avoid taking a spoil will not be tolerated by any players.

This is not a common occurrence and we do not expect to see it happen at all but a rule should be in place to prevent abuse.

If a team breaks this rule the game must be re-made. (unless the wronged clan want the game to stand)

If a clan repeatedly breaks the rule then an escalating scale of punishment will apply.

32 clans have signed up. So all the what-ifs are moot.

You need 10 players to form a clan...so that is the # of players you have to have to enter.

We are double checking the "escalating" timing out rule. We have it somewhere, but Bruce isn't on right now.

Timing completely depends on the # of sign ups. So, again, we will not be guessing on that.

Draw. Top 16 will be seeded. Draw for play-in will be random. I don't think we have decided how the random draw will occur, but probably something with live chat...or we can just send a list of clans to one person and have them assign random numbers...then send numbers to another person and have them randomly assign the #s into match-ups. Then when we combine them they will be completely random. But we will figure that out when we determine how many random draws there will be. Or we can hire one of those lottery girls to draw names out of a box of bouncing balls...I actually like this option! Think Admin will pay for it

Actually, this is only true if one more clan signs up. With 32, no play-in round is required. All 16 seeded clans would be expected to play in the opening round unless something changes with the structure. [/pedant]
