I've seen talk in the map foundry of 8 person games. Map makers who have designed very large maps (100 territories or more) say that there map will be used mostly for 4v4...

I don't see any option for playing more than 6 players... is 4v4 in the works of whats to come? I'm just curious if these people are idiots or if this will actually happen.

personally, i think 4 vs 4 would suck, but a 8 player singles would be good :D

Check the To-Do list in the suggestions forum. Both 8 player games and 4v4 are on the list.

I already knew that... Actually, if i remember right, they're on the "pending" part of the to-do list :mrgreen:

I'd play 8 players in real time maybe .... otherwise no ... it would take too long to have a game IMO

Would quite like to play 8-player, assuming there are no deadbeats (another thing to ban newbies from?). Think 4v4 would be kind of crap though

I have a 180 territory map in development that would be good for 8 players.
