Possible Tourney Awards?

I was just bumming around BoardGameGeek.com and I noticed that many users have "badges" attached to their name/avatar. Since most tourneys on CC are just for bragging rights anyway, wouldn't it be great if the winner could actually receive a badge/ribbon/trophy? Those awards could then be listed in your profile. Maybe when the cursor arrow is passed over the image of the award it's title pops up. I am pretty much computer illiterate so I can't write a program for CC that would allow tourney organizers to custom create an award, but maybe one of you bright, young, energetic technophiles will take up the challenge. Please post any thoughts.

nope, lack cant just keep giving away premium membership. those too cheap to buy it shouldnt have it in my opinion.

Theres a premium tourney being done by wacicha and lack as we speak.

indeed i know of this tournament, i was talking on a larger scale. as in not every single tournament could give away premium, i mean the iron man tournaments only have 6 players in them. therefore it would be almost easy to win premium..........

indeed i know of this tournament, i was talking on a larger scale. as in not every single tournament could give away premium, i mean the iron man tournaments only have 6 players in them. therefore it would be almost easy to win premium..........

thing is the tournaments i have been in where premium was given away the organizer of the tournaments payed lack for the premium of the winner, thus lack did not lose any money and the winner got his premium.
i also think medal sort of things is a good idea, and it has been done slightly before, but you had to add it manually to the avatar

I like the idea of badges, a nice way of showing off your vicotry. I don't like the idea of winning premium memberships.
