CCMMC #2 - Revolutionary War MAFIA - MAFIA WIN!!!!!!!!!

Post by Anarkistsdream »

MAFIA RULES

[1]I am MOD, What ever I say goes, if I make a mistake I will try to fix it. All roles are assigned randomly.

[2]No quoting pm’s, you may post your role, win condition, alignment and anything associated with them.

[3]If you forget/delete your role I will send it to u again. I recommend not deleting your role and putting it in your save box.

[4]All votes/unvotes must be in bold. If you vote again without a unvote in between, only the first vote will be tallied.

[5]Lynching needs the majority of the town to vote for the same person. After this has been reached I will not count any unvotes.

[6]Once I have posted your death scene you are dead, DO NOT post after I have posted your death scene. Persistent posting once you are dead will mean being banned from all future mafia games run by me.

[7]You may vote “No Lynch”

[8]You may not talk about the game out side of this thread, (unless your role says you can).

[9]NO editing or deleting of previous posts.

[10]No information will be hidden in the death scene.

[11]DO NOT spam or excessively joke in this thread, this thread is for playing the game, not spamming.

[12]Please be active in this game, it makes the game more enjoyable for everyone. I would like you to post at least once every real life 24 hours. Post in the thread if you are unable to meet this commitment. There will be no replacements in this series of games, if you do not post enough you may be modkilled.

[13]”Days” will last 4 real life days, if a majority has not been reached by this deadline it will be a no lynch, “nights” will last 2 real life days, anyone not getting their choices in by the end of this time period will lose their choice for that night.

[14]NO posting at night.

[15]Failure to meet these rules may result in being modkilled. Being modkilled may mean a ban from The Mini Cup.

[16]PM me with any questions about the game.

On Thursday, December 16, 1773, the evening before the a huge shipment of tea was due to be landed, on a signal given by Samuel Adams, the Sons of Liberty thinly disguised as Mohawk Indians, left the massive protest meeting and headed toward Griffin's Wharf, where lay HMS Dartmouth and her newly arrived, tea bearing, sister ships HMS Beaver and HMS Eleanour.

Swiftly and efficiently casks of tea were brought up from the hold to the deck, reasonable proof that some of the "Indians" were, in fact, longshoremen. The casks were opened and the tea dumped overboard; the work, lasting well into the night, was quick, thorough, and efficient. By dawn 90,000 lbs (45 tons) of tea worth an estimated £10,000 had been consigned to waters of Boston harbor. Nothing else had been damaged or stolen, except a single padlock accidentally broken and anonymously replaced not long thereafter. Tea washed up on the shores around Boston for weeks.

The incident began on King Street when a young whippersnapper's named Edward Garrick called out to a British officer, Captain John Goldfinch, that he was late paying his barber's bill. Goldfinch had, in fact, settled his account that day but did not reply to theboy. When Garrick remained quite vocal in his complaints an hour later, the British sentry outside the customs house, Private Hugh White, called the boy over and clubbed him on the head. Garrick's companions yelled at the sentry, and a British sergeant chased them away.[2] The apprentices returned with more locals, shouting insults at the sentry and throwing snowballs and litter.

Captain Thomas Preston, according to his account, dispatched a non-commissioned officer and twelve privates, all soldiers of the 29th Regiment of Foot, and he followed soon after. The mob grew in size and continued throwing stones, sticks, and chunks of ice. A group of sailors and dockworkers came carrying large sticks of firewood and pushed to the front of the crowd, directly confronting the soldiers. As bells rang in the surrounding steeples, the crowd of Bostonians grew larger and more threatening.

In the midst of the commotion, Private Hugh Montgomery was struck down onto the ground by a piece of ice. He fired his musket, later admitting to one of his defense attorneys that someone had yelled "Fire!" Captain Preston might have said "DO NOT FIRE!", but one of the soldiers thought he said to fire and shot into the crowd. Almost everyone fired into the crowd except one of the soldiers. Their uneven bursts hit eleven men; three died instantly, one a few hours later, and a fifth several days later. Six wounded survived. The soldiers were later tried in Admiralty Courts for manslaughter, but were not punished gravely.
