Gaining extra joins from completing milestones

Suggestion Idea:
Have a list of diffirent milestones with reward points once complete

Specifics:
Certain factors are be counted up as part of a players profile. Once they reach a certain level they are rewarded with points. Say for example game wins. There could be a table like this:

50 WINS - 20 POINTS
100 WINS - 50 POINTS
250 WINS - 75 POINTS
****Numbers for example purpases only***

every time a player reached these milestones they are rewared. But it doesnt have to stop at game wins, it can go right down to doubles wins, assassin wins. tournemnent wins players elimenated,no card games won.

Why it is needed:
It helps reward expericned players and will alsoencourage people to play other game types to gain the rewards there.

Priority: 3 =)

i would be hugh points. smaller amount but hte higher teh milestone the more points.

I don't like it, it rewards the players who play tons of games at once too much, and doesn't reward the players who play 1 or 2 games casually at a time. The idea would be better if it was fair for everyone, but I still think points should only be won in games. No freebies in war...

Talk about point inflation. The people at the top of the scoreboard would typically have the most wins, therefore gaining extra points they dont' need. Sorry, bad idea.

I like the idea but not the reward. We should have a section in our profile for all awards. We could get someone good with grapics to make different medals. For example anyone who was in the top ten at any point could get a gold medal with a 10 on it. Im sure that we could come up with all sorts of awards and banners. What do you think?

I think this sounds similar to Game Type Specific Scoreboards - which I think is a good idea. Unfortunately, that is listed under Rejected (for reasons listed in the original thread) on Lack's to-do list:

even this would be good. No points but would still reward a player with experience

this is nothing like that. That is making the scoreboard into different sections. this is giving awards for different acomplishments

A key reason listed for the rejection of split scoreboards is that some game records are lost. This same objection could be applied to awards - which are essentially "win/loss scoreboard" positions (though displayed on the profile as opposed to a central location).

You might overcome that objection by having everyone start fresh in the competition for awards, though I expect some high-ranked players would like their past accomplishments counted. There is a Pending suggestion for a Trophy Case (for tournament awards). If you gave out periodic accomplishment trophies on a monthly (or quarterly) basis, maybe people wouldn't mind starting level each period.

I may have somewhat misread the original post. I thought it was a request for points, but is it in fact a way for non-premium players to earn more concurrent games?

i think it is a good idea to have rewards but not points as a reward because someone who may be very good but plays little will have the same rank as someone who plays nonstop but would otherwise be horrible as a player, that is unfair

. there is another forum floating around saying we should have medals for different achievements and that would be better like 5/10/15 straight wins tournament winner ect. i think that is a better idea
