Opposite of grievence post

Post by Laskdjf »

A suggestion: Create a form for posting a recommendation, basically the opposite of a grievence, so that if you play against someone that displayed good sportsmanship, took their turn quickly, was a good partner in doubles or triples, etc, you could commend/recommend them to others. I would like to play more doubles or triples games, but I worry that I'll get stuck with someone who will desert the game halfway through, or is just a bad teammate. Just a thought.

i was talkin to a mate about this not long ago but we decided that you would get so many recommendations that it would b pointless. people would recommend each other simply coz it was a gd game and premium members who play a lot could end up with hundreds of recommendations

Yeah, you're probably right, it would just be nice to have a way to know if someone was worth playing with, particularly in a doubles or triples game...

thats the point of a grievence, to let you know if the player has good sportsmanship or not.

this is something that I believe is being added to grievance 2.0

and while, yes, people would end up with many good recomendations, surely that is fine, because if someone has 100 good games, and 1 bad, why should the 1 bad be the only one that shows up.

in addition, everyone knows that people are more likely to post a negative feedback than a positive one...thus you will still likely see grievances weighted towards the negative.
