I suggest that points lost by losing players and the points gained by the winning players be dependent on the number of rounds taken to win.

To reward quicker wins, I suggest a multiplicative factor in determining the points lost and points gained. The multiplicative factor would be higher for quicker wins.
How the multiplicative factor varies with the round number could be different for different map sizes and for different number of players.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
Presently, many games get bogged down in long stalemates. While there is an option of round-limited games, I believe the incentive of gaining more points would lead to quicker and more interesting games.

sorry but it seems like a very bad idea, for many reasons (but im soooo lazy).
think twice and i'm sure you will see it makes no sense. Maybe you only play certain maps/settings where it could make sense... (but again im too lazy to check your games ).
