How about not allowing players to join a multiples game until they have complete 5 singles games?
Not sure if it would be difficult to code in, but it would stop several multiples games from becoming farsicle from the start.

Doubles and Triples are in almost no way self explanatory.AndyDufresne wrote:As for the last post...Doubles and Triples is pretty self explanatory. And they just sound classier too.

This makes no sense whatsoever. Unless you are 8 years old you should know what doubles and triples mean. The only reason newbs attack their partners is because they want to play now, so they join a game with only 1 player needed to start without looking at the game type. Then they just attack whoever is closest.bryanbr wrote:Doubles and Triples are in almost no way self explanatory.AndyDufresne wrote:As for the last post...Doubles and Triples is pretty self explanatory. Let's see: Doubles refers to three teams of two players. Um, that is no way self explanatory. I have never seen a multiplayer computer game where team play was referred to as "Doubles".
You can play doubles in tennis, but that is two sets of two players.
Now, the only common language (American English) use of the word Triples is a three base hit in American baseball.
The terms are confusing and non-sensical.
Continue to use them, and you will continue to see newbies attacking their Teamates in Team Games.
