yea hes good, the only thing i dont like about his books are that there to descriptive, when their walking he describes every little stone they pass.Iliad wrote:tolkien is favourite by far. However George R R Martin, Hobb, and Jasper Fforde are also up there.
I kinda like that. First of all it's not every stone second of all it's a whole different world and he wanted to get it across to the reader. The thing I don't like about Tolkien the most is the long pointless songs. But otherwise the books are AWESOME!lord twiggy1 wrote:yea hes good, the only thing i dont like about his books are that there to descriptive, when their walking he describes every little stone they pass.Iliad wrote:tolkien is favourite by far. Well, I think fans of LoTR fans would like it (I know I do, and yes I have read the LoTR books), because it is similar in the style and background. But no elves or dwarves though. Or live dragons (so far).lord twiggy1 wrote:never heard of either author
