Moving Map?

Post by paulk »

I just wonder if it is possible to program a changing map.
Lets say a map has a border that even turns are possible to cross and odd turns not.

Yes or No?

I'm not sure I'd like a transforming map. I would like a map that has triggers. Like x border doesn't exist unless y territory is held by the player that wants to use x border at the start of the turn.

Yes or No?
short answer: NO

long answer:
at this moment no but i requested 2-3 months ago such a feature to program borders in the xml to act in various ways and so far nothing. but from what i know the xml features will be reconsidered sometime in the future. so keep your fingers crossed.

Wow, that sounds like a great idea. Imagine a 'pangaea' map, where the continents eventually float apart, or something like that. Too cool.
