Yeah, johnny, look at all these: we've already got (pardon me while I count on my fingers) three whole maps based on fantasy works.
On the other hand, we have about a dozen or so maps more or less ripped right out of a real-world atlas. Now, I've got nothing against based based on real geography in principle, but if you're going to complain about too many maps of one kind or another, wouldn't it make a lot more sense to say "Ach, not another ordinary country map" or "Ach, not another continent map"?
A Dune map would most likely have to be much like the Space map with the different planets. Arrakis itself was pretty devoid of anything that would lead to map making.
Now, George RR Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" series lends itself to a decent map.
