not deploying all your armies

dont know if this has been brought up but why cant we choose how many of our armies to place on the board. in another game i play, you can deploy as many or little as you want and "stockpile" your armies. its kinda intersting to do, it realy catches people off guard if they dont pay attention

Stockpile them on the board until everyone wants you dead but they are too chicken to take you on
Then lash out and leave no continent in tact

Personally I don't want to have to keep track of who's stock piling armies. You would have to look at all the logs, and subtract the deployed from the total earned... for every round. I don't want to have to do that, and if you didn't, you'd be leaving things up to chance.
