NFL map?

I thought it might be fun to have a map with all of the NFL teams, with points given for taking a division or conference. Maybe the map could be expanded to include Candian and European World leagues?

there is already a thread, in this topic where I am working on just this, currently looking into graphical ideas for connecting territories.

What sort of graphical ideas are you talking about? I'm imagining the map to look basically like North America, with some of Europe available too. Plus, maybe some other weird territories as "exhibition game" locations ....OH, and don't forget Hawaii for the Pro Bowl!

Maybe regions or states could be divided up into RED and BLUE sections to represent the conferences?

Let me know what sorts of ideas you're looking for exactly and I'll see what I can offer as solutions.

I really like the idea, but what about states with multiple teams? Such as the Giants and Jets play in the same stadium...

The regions or states could be divided up "red" and "blue" according to conference. Look at the Great Lakes map, all of the states are divided and named for the major city in the region.

Maybe the conferences and teams could be attackable only by "airline route"? It might be cool to force certain routes to attack. You could make certain divisions worth more points/armies according to how strong they are in reality (based on 2007 stats).
