lift the rule

It seems since I joined cc a few nmonths ago all people talk about is cheating and secret alliances

how about we lift the rule on secret alliances so that the game is actually more realistic and fun and at the same time we stop having these dumb debates

As repeated ad nauseum, making your secret alliances legitimate is a dumb idea
that will cheapen the game and totally alter how it is played.

If you prefer undisclosed methods of attack, stick to double and triple team games
and you won't have any problems.

absolutely not...i played at a site that allowed them...it was an absolute farce

one out of every 6 games came down to a fair fight and a fun game...the rest were just two people exterminating the rest.

perhaps some day it could be an option, but the game is so much more fun without them

THORNHEART: People aren't giving you a fair shake in here because they are riled up about the krusher case and perhaps your continuing defense of him. That being said, I agree with everyone else that this is a very bad idea, but I'll actually explain why, haha

You are thinking that players would get to a strategic junction in the game and view an alliance is necessary. Instead of posting it in game chat they would PM the player and ally to try and gain a temporary advantage. Other than it being done in secret, that is no different than the "good" alliances in game chat.

The problem is that many many people would abuse this rule. Instead of playing the game normally and asking for a secret alliance sparingly, people would get a friend or two and be allied from start to finish. That aspect of secret alliances is what would truly destroy all strategic aspects of this game.

Everyone: THORNHEART is not a multi, krusher is not a multi. Further accusation is simply name calling and belongs in flame wars. Similarly, THORNHEART, flaming responses don't endear you to anyone and don't belong here either.

Let's all discuss things civilly, even ideas that could potentially ruin the site
