Flashing Speed Game Tab

Suggestion Idea: You have a speed game tab, and it Flashes repeatedly when it is your turn.

Specifics: Pretty basic... You have a speed game tab open, among others. You go and say, browse the forums in one open tab, keeping your speed game tab open as well. When it becomes your turn, it starts to blink and flash. It will stop flashing when you visit that page until it's your turn again.

Why it is needed: So I can play in a speed game AND browse the forums without risking missing a turn.

That would require changing the code for your browser itself, something that Lack doesn't do (I'm going on a hunch here). What you would need would be some sort of Add-on for your browser.

The better and more dynamic option offering the same service would be to have a little icon appear next to "My Games" similar to the icon that appears when you have a new PM. The idea has already been suggested and should be somewhere on the to-do list

I've had tabs flash at me before without an addon. Besides, a number beside your My Games tab wouldn't tell you that it was your speed game that had your turn ready. Just ANY game.

You could also have a setting in 'My Settings', saying 'Do you want a PM when it's your turn in a speed game?' that go with the others.

How would a flashing tab work if you're in the forum?

Well, since you have the speed game open in a different tab... Here is a graphical example of what I'm talking about (assuming that that game is a speed game in which it is my turn):

Oh, that kind of tab. I thought you meant a tab in the 'My games' page.

But then it would also need to refresh automatically, and the game doesn't do that when you're just watching someone else's turn.

Perhaps a letter "s" next to My Games showing you have a speed turn or a "c" showing a casual turn.

It refreshes automatically if it's a speed game... Hence why this suggestion is for speed games.
