A map for all you hockey fans!

Hey, I've just proposed an idea for my first map. If you're interested in this being made leave some feedback in this thread.

Whenever I visit the tournament forum, I see around 20 or so sports related tournaments. And yet, there are no sport related maps. Yet.
As young boy growing up in Canada, I lived off hockey. The one thing I did more than read was play with my table hockey set. Why not have a map based on a classic table hockey board? Each (Hockey) player can have three territories; to show its movement along the board. There can be bonuses for holding a player, the defence, the wings, and the whole team. Borders will depend on who might pass to who and who would shoot on who. Passes would be two-way, but there would be a one way from the forwards to the opposing goalie.

I figure this can be based on a specific board. A classic, with all of the original players represented. Does this sound like a good idea? I would also need an experienced cartographer to help me, as this is my first map.

yeah I have no idea how you will make it but go for it. I suggest a huge map and have each continent be a bonus, each division, and each conference.

Actually, It's going to be a table hockey board, So it will look like a rink as seen from above with 12 players (5 a side plus goalie), each with 3 positions on the board. For any one who doesn't know what table hockey is, it's similar to foosball.

This is a great idea, and could really be a fun board.
