You silly old sod-you will be greatly missed. I know we're poles apart, but you brought this site alive. You were that rare thing on an internet forum- someone ALWAYS worth reading. Even during our spat and my various bans, you were the first bloke i would click on. (*resist obligatory gay joke*).
So its CC's loss-they're a bunch of cnts, and you're a legend. Simple as.
It won't be half as much fun around here without you.
You've got a lot of talent mate-make sure the rest of the world finds that out.

Norse got banned because he liked free speech, and didnt think other people needed "protection" from his views-maybe he was silly enough to think that people could excercise personal responsibility and choice, or even debate the issues with him.
How silly of him-he should have known that we all have to think the same, and say the same.
And people moan about these forums being boring?!
Its because anyone with a spark of individuality gets kicked out.
I agree with everything the Mods say, like when Wicked called Dancing Mustard a piece of shit. Not very nice, but shes a Mod, so I agree.

Not if he worked his way up the ladder of abuse I guess. Oddly enough, the few interactions I personally had with Norse were always quite civil and friendly.

However, he did push the line everywhere else from what I can see.

Norse continually tested the limits here in the forums, and often crossed the line. He had plenty of warnings and timeouts and opportunities to adjust his behaviour. After this thread the other day, he was given one more chance to straighten up to avoid a permanent forum ban. Two recent racist posts yesterday/today finally pushed him over the edge.

Yeah, he knew what he did wasn't allowed, so I don't understand what the problem is.

He suggested (with no swearing, or any offensive language whatsoever) that white people are cleverer than black people.
Personally, i think thats balls. But why ban him? People could either read it, not read it, laugh, agree, disagree etc

And his comments about Polish people in the "Losing my touch" thread.

Keep in mind these were all made after he was told his very next indiscretion would result in a permanent forum ban. And he was actually given one more shot. Back in November (I believe, going off memory here), he was told then the next time he crossed the line he'd be gone. So yeah DDS, he did get "one last shot" and he blew it.

Norse has been around for much longer than MONTHS. His schtick was pretty consistent throughout.
