Here's an idea: how about we have a page where people can enter their tournaments, the number of vacancies left, and a brief description and when you want to enter, instead of posting, the system will simply enter you in. It would be much more convenient than having to pick through callouts to find your tournament or one that you would like to play in. Also, although this would be a crapload of work, it could be the same interface as creating a game. the settings would be how the players are grouped, type of tournament, and # of people wanted. Once you finish your game, you tell the creator who enters the results. lol, I know this is not realistic, but it would be awesome.

Well our new Tournament Director will do a low-tech version of this by maintaining a sticky topic in the Callouts forum. We just have to wait for the TD to be appointed...

what if someone wants to join but whoever started the tourney didnt want them in? would there be a way for whoever created the tourney to expel anyone from the tournament? If not, we would probably have to stick to the post-to-join method.
