Non vanilla mafia for new/inexperienced players (Full!)

Post by Koesen »

All spots have been filled. I'll send out the PMs and make a new thread to begin the game in. Please be advised that due to real life circumstances, I wont be able to be very active today and during the weekend. If people prefer to start playing on Monday, that's ok with me. You can also start right away. Just don't hold your breath for vote counts etc. for now

I'm going to run a non vanilla game (i.e. every player gets some kind of unique power in addition to his voting rights) for new or inexperienced players. The set up will be more complicated than the c9 games or other recent newbie games, but less complicated than the advanced stuff that's going on at the moment. The purpose is to introduce the players to most of the basic roles and mechanisms they will encounter in other games.

I'm looking for 14 players, mostly new or inexperienced. Two or three vets will be welcome too, to guide the others.

I'll run it as soon as I have the players. The role PMs are done. There's no particular theme, so day scenes shouldn't take too much time.

Who you vote for is entirely up to you, since the consequences will be exclusively yours to deal with :)

Same as LoVo, should you want a few with experience I'll play but feel free to say no should you want to focus on newer players from here out.

I'll put you in and still focus on the newer players!

(which doesn't mean you're a newer player, just that I'm happy to get my second vet :))

His reputation still stands, though :)

Besides, I think we can tell the difference between Mandy-a and Mandy-b. And if not, we'll just have to lynch one of them on day one and it will all be clear again!

Excellent. Just out of curiosity, would you consider yourself to be experienced or still fairly new? You're in either way, but I'm just curious.
