own army numbers

Post by Wisse »

wouldn't it be great to make your own army numbers for your map?
i don't think its that difficult to implent (or you have to trow the whole system down and up... hope that isn't the way)
but if you make a picture of each 0-9 thing (and blind-colour letters if wanted) wouldn't it be much easier to see and be nicer
though you have to make 0-9 in all colours and also some blind colour things i think its worth the time to make it ;) or would it load to slow?

suggested a few times and from what i remember lack said he will consider it but in the not so near future.

exactly and that's a great idea because the current numbers are too damn boring. i'd like to put some pirate fonts on AoM or some fantasy ones on AoR but i can't and this sucks because those damn bland fonts ruin the feeling of the maps.

anyway as i said there's a slim chance we might see this happen in the distant future.

i would change them to the font i already have for the names, so their wouldn't be any army circles
