This is one way of course to find out if Neoteny is scum. If he's scum, he'll hammer and win. Otherwise, he is most probably town.

It seems to me that voting first is the worst thing a townie could do in that position. Now, knowing that at the beginning would make this entirely luck based, but coming in unprepared, it is enlightening.
