Ever been stuck on Alcatraz?

I am playing an SF game and I have only one territory...Alcatraz...meaning I cannot attack anyone and just have to wait until someone decides to eliminate me. I can't even suicide my guys.

Yes I have - the worst thing is that you end up being the very last person taken out (unless you happen to have a fist full of cards?)

I am also in a Waterloo game where I am stuck in 2 artillery - I can still bombard though!

yeah, even better, i was in a team game, and they were just killing us... the guy that had all the armies passed to him and that was going for the kill, took out one of my partners territories in alcatraz, advanced, and stranded 50 armies. we then were able to bust them all up and win the game... took about 10 rounds to load up enough armies to finally kill off alcatraz at the end... just funny...=-

First time I played, it happened to me ... I forted all my armied there. Your opponent will take you out shortly....

before finally reporting it as a bug because no matter how many winning dice he rolls
it's still there.

This happened to me in a game once...had a few other territories, and other players knocked them all out that round. I'd always wanted to do it - seemed like fun, really - and it took the eventual winner at least three rounds to take me down.

If you want to play for the stupid situation, I recommend it! =)

i just in a game where I tried to eliminate someone with 4 cards and couldn't leaving him in alcatraz with 2 men. He went next and got 10 guys from cards and no one eliminated him for just one card having to go through 15 of his guys.

The winner (I think I won it, can't recall) had to go through 50 some guys cuz we kept playing a while after the incident...


and the worst part is... he was freemium so he just had a game sitting there.....
