Owen's in Forum Jail! Was it for witty banter, dazzling diatribe or terrible trolling?? Must he roll doubles to get out , or will the BpB cough up $50 to get him out of jail? I'm sure we'll hear about it in Fruit's Weekly News....

Owen's lucky enough that if he pays $50, he'd land on Free Parking and make an extra $250.

That's what questioning mis-applied authority gets you.

Hopefully the new mods can help cut down on all of this completely justified objecting, and even help to stamp out the current plague of people who think mods ought to be accountable for their mistakes. That'll make this place so much better than it already is...

Quite right too DM. It is nothing short of disgraceful that people should be able to state an opinion, or even worse, show dissent and dispute treatment received.

If this kind of freedom isn't stamped on very hard we will be in all sorts of dilemmas and predicaments. People will actually start thinking for themselves (and we all know what trouble that gets them in!!!), beliefs and opposing philosophies will start to rear their ugly heads, outlooks will be formed independently of interference, judgements based on fact will abound….God help us all.

Far better, surely, for a mega power to bring a tyrannous and despotic attitude to everything. This way, progress and discourse can be stifled (and rightly so I say!) the status quo can remain no matter whether it is good or bad. One sided views can be forced upon an unsuspecting people, juxtapositions can be taken at will, and freedoms can be taken whenever wished. Such are the firm and stable pillars upon which the Western society has been built, with all the benefits therein.

Long live totalitarian rule!
