My Bloody Valentine were the support band at the first gig I ever went to; The Wedding Present at the Town and Country Club in Kentish Town in 1988 or 89. I was stood right at the front and as soon as MBV started playing the whole place just went mental. Been going to gigs pretty consistently ever since, between 15 and 30 a year. You Made Me Realise still remains to this day one of my all time favourite songs - genius.
I envy you, sounds awesome. I'm too young to have seen them the first time around. Mind you the first time I heard Only Shallow on Cd is still a defining moment.
