Especially considering your rank is the lofty corporal ... ehTop Dog wrote:Yes I do leave ratings after the first game and if you play stupid then I figure that you just stink... So yeah I do after one game... but that's all anyone needs to tell, considering your a private, if I played you and you made a lot of mistakes I'd prolly give you average ratings and just think to myself that you really stink[/color]... But if you got better and I played you again then I'd change my mind right away... I say one game is plenty to tell how someone plays... Now, under circumstances where my opponent is really good but the dice REALLY hate him then if I can see they just lost due to the dice I don't make any judgements...
First, anyone leaving a wall posting like that is probably worthy of ignoring (oops --- foeing, though I felt the term "ignore" more accurate). Beyond that, I don't rate skill. I find that the overwhelming majority (a few exceptions, but not many) who put huge stock in that are not the best players themselves and, generally, are just plain bad sports -- the kind who would rather attack someone else than criticize their own play/actions.TaCktiX wrote:Recently I got a lovely addition to my wall saying that my strategy is nonexistent, that I suck at CC, etc. etc. The person who left said Wall post had only completed one game with me (on a map I stink at). So my question to everyone else is: do you judge other people on one or two games? Or do you refuse to make judgments at all?
