Post by pimpdave »

Mr. Nobunaga,

You are very interesting and smart and stuff. Please tell us your views on things, as well as on stuff. Everyone, please suggest a category for Mr. Nobunga to share his views. After he shares his views, someone can suggest a new category. I will start.

People on Disability: Shouldn't the government just put them to work in the salt mines already?

No because I tricked you with my rhetoric.

The answer is actually: No, the government should just let them starve, unable to provide for themselves as invalids and a burden upon their families, they should be made to fend for themselves, since they are just faking being disabled. If you want the government to put them to work in the salt mines, well that's just big government and you hate that.

give us your opinions on why Nobunaga is seen as a good enough cmmander to take your name, rather than, say, Cao Cao. Both were similar.

Dear Nobunagger,
How is it that giving everybody a gun will lower the amount of gun crime? Does the same reason apply to giving everybody a baseball bat with nails in it? Does the same reasoning apply to nuclear bombs? If not, why not?

... I was not aware of Cao Cao's existence until I wiki'd it just now. Thank you.

... Nobunaga was voted "The most Japanese of all Japanese" and "Possesing the strongest heart", in a recent survey in Japan. But presonally, his rise from petty warlord to master of (most of) Japan in such a short span of time is facsinating.

... Nobunaga (the original Nobunaga) changed the face of warfare in Japan forever. He was the first to effectively utilize the rifle (musket), which brought the general masses onto the battlefield where once it was naught but landed nobles and their retainers.

... He goaded the "old school" types with insults into making cavalry charges against his lines. His lines then opened up with barrages of gun fire decimating their ranks in short order. Peasants were killing nobles, it was unheard of.

... As for the Chinese, I like Ying, the first and mightiest Qin emperor/conquerer. I went to see his tomb and the terracotta warriors guarding it, it was awesome (as in awe inspiring). Emporer Ying was the emporer in that film, "Hero", btw. Good flick.

Coke Zero: Why don't conservatives hate this zero calorie beverage, engineered in defiance of God's will (of sweets), as much as they hate stem cell research or Snoop Dogg?

... Who are the Dixie Chicks? A country music band, right? All women?

... I've heard the name before but didn't know what folks were talking about (been out of the country a while).

... And why would somebody, conservative or no, want them burned?

Mr. Nobunaga,

Please try to refrain from asking questions. This thread is for you to share your views, not to ask me questions.

Please share your views.

Communism: If conservatives will not negotiate with "terrorists" at all whatsoever, why are they so happy to get into bed with China economically and overlook their gross human rights violations?

Mr. Nobunaga,

I am shocked and intrigued by your expert use of rhetoric. If you would like to ask me questions, please feel free to start a "Questions for pimpdave" thread, so that people reading this thread are not confused and end up saying loudly to someone in the cubicle adjacent, "I thought this was a thread for Nobunaga to share his views, not a thread for pimpdave to answer questions. Now, if there was a thread I could read in which pimpdave answers questions, I would not be so confused."

Also, I am very interested to see your views on the topic posed above by the robot claiming to be mustard capable of dancing.
