This is a trivia for the Lord of the Rings fans whether they've read the book or seen the movie. You can only post a question if you have answered the previous question correctly. The person that determines if an answer to a question is correct or not is the person that posts that question.
I'll start it off.

Wow...not a very common question at all...the answer is Curunir.
Was that sarcasm? Anyway, you are correct.
No, not sarcasm...sorry. I really have never been asked that question (we have a separate LOTR clan with a similar thread, and that question has never come up).

BEEP
Correct answer is: Goblins, Men of Dale, Elves of Mirkwood, Dwarves of the Iron Hills, and Eagles.
Absolutely incorrect.
So began a battle that none had expected; and it was called the Battle of Five Armies, and it was very terrible. Upon one side were the Goblins and the Wild Wolves, and upon the other were Elves and Men and Dwarves.
-J.R.R.Tolkien The Hobbit
The Eagles and Beorn joined the battle near the end, but the battle is named for the five armies that met initially.
Could be right. I haven't read it in a while. Perhaps my memory is clouded by the ^&*$#&%^& cartoon where Bilbo surmises 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 armies right before he gets conked on the head. Thanks for the correction.
